This website offers a collection of decorative patchwork silk pillows, executed in 100% silk fabrics. My designs are partly inspired by traditional American quilt patterns, such as Log Cabin, Double Wedding Ring and Rail Fence. Other designs are original.

Log Cabin.

Although the cushions are for sale, I also explain how to make them. I hope to convince those of you who are not experts in sewing that it really is worthwhile to give it a try. Ultimately, it is rewarding to see something beautiful develop under your hands. I know that you can do it, even if you never have never sewn before.

Double Wedding Ring.

This material is my favorite because of its prettiness, its feel and its brilliant colors. Pillows, however, also need to be sturdy. The fabrics are therefore reinforced with a double backing and the cushion covers are lined in cotton. There is a zipper in the back so the inserts can be removed and the cover dry cleaned.

Rail Fence.

I have found that, apart from beautifying your own home, handmade cushions make wonderful gifts and are appreciated by everybody. Whether you are looking for a unique wedding gift, a great birthday present, or just want to make someone you love happy, you've come to the right spot.
